Admission Process

Step 1: Research your options & make a plan

• Explore your goals

• Research NACTA program options that match your goals

• Explore NACTA on Wechat app and our official website or by sending emails to us.

• Visit our campus in Beijing (if possible) or apply to a short-term non-degree program before deciding whether apply to a B.A.or M.A.program.

Step 2: Apply

(B. A.programs: 1^st, November to 20^th, December )

(M.A.programs: 1^st, October to 20^th, November )

• Review NACTA’s annual Admission Guidelines

• Download, fill in and submit the scan copy of your application form (and the necessary documentation required on the second page in your form) based on your applicant type to nactastudy@126.com

Step 3: Stay informed after applying

(B. A.programs: 21^st , December to 10^th , January )

(M.A.program: 21^st, November to 10^th, December)

• l Check your emails for our notice including time for exams on campus

Step 4: Attend exams/interviews at NACTA

(B.A.programs: late January or early February, usually in the first week after Chinese New Year holidays )

(M.A.program: the first round of exams happens in the late December, usually in the days around Christmas holiday, and the second round happens in mid April)

Step 5: Stay informed after taking exams / review NACTA offer

(B.A.programs: June )

(M.A.program: May )

• l Check your email for NACTA offer.

Step 6: Register/Attend orientation

(September)

• Register (select classes, schedule, pay fees, etc.) as a new NACTA student

• Participate in fall semester orientation events

• Submit scholarship application

Step 2: Apply

NACTA is open for spring semester in 1^st, March to 10^th, July and fall semester in 1^st, September to 10^th, January. NACTA’s review on your application and necessary documentation will take 3 weeks. If we decide to send you offer, we need 2-3 weeks to prepare paperwork for you to apply for X-type visa to China in your country and send them to you by post.
